Who and what are the 'Naked Frizzbeez??'
- A couple of years ago, a number of Protea members joined together to
form an Action Cricket team.
- The team subsequently shifted it's focus to Action Netball
(which, according to the team's current official spokeman, and poser,
Dave, is "A very manly sport")
- Those interested in joining the team, are required to attend a
'special' tryout session, during which you'll be expected to show us
your talent. There is NO exception to this rule, and we currently only
have female positions open. (By order Hilton, Peter and
Dave.)
- Below are a couple 'action' shots taken recently. Notice how, despite
the fact that he was supposed to have been playing, Dave still managed to
be in most of the shots...when asked about this, he replied that "it's a
rare skill which I one day hope to exploit to utmost potential"
- Also, please note, that a number of the photo's are 'blurred'. This is
a special effect that our very experienced photographer used, although the
general feeling amongst the players is that the game is just too fast
paced for him...ohh, and his camera!!
Um Dave, is this how to pose properly?? No you fool, THIS is how it's done!!! We're not sure, but chances are that this ISN'T us scoring a goal... Claire shows that even the short players can shoot... We call this the "Ohh please go in" position...
